Alan Fosnacht

Alan Fosnacht has multiple cycles of fundraising experience and is very well known and highly regarded by the donor community in Michigan.  Alan has led instate fundraising for Senator Gary Peters, Congressman Dan Kildee as well as congressional candidate Carl Marlinga.

Prior to fundraising, Alan headed some of Farough and Associates' most successful work including playing a lead role in Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson 2018 race - the first winning Democratic Secretary of State candidate in twenty-four years. Other clients he has worked for include the Michigan Democratic Party, the Michigan House Democrats, the Operating Engineers Local 324, Carpenters and Millwrights and numerous democratic candidates in Michigan.

Before joining our team, Alan led crucial elements on some of Michigan’s winning campaigns. In 2014, Alan was the Program Manager at the Michigan Democratic Party, where he helped lead a relentless earned media campaign. During the 2010 and 2012 election cycles, Alan served as Field Director and Deputy Field Director for then-Congressman Gary Peters. Alan’s hard-nosed approach to political campaigns and his ability to organize earned him widespread acknowledgment for putting together what was called one of the best field programs in the country, if not the best.

Alan was born and raised in Oakland County and earned a B.A. in Public Policy Analysis from Western Michigan University.
